Following last week's confirmation that Rocket League was getting a physical release, today developer Psyonix announced more details. The new version of the hit soccer-with-cars game will arrive for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One at stores during Q3 2016 (July-September) through a partnership with 505 Games.
Psyonix also announced that, in addition to the base game and Rocket League's three previously released expansions (Supersonic Fury, Revenge of the Battle-Cars, and Chaos Run), the physical version will come with some "cool, retail-exclusive goodies." More information will be shared in the lead-up to launch.

505 Games also publishes Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons and Payday 2: Crimewave Edition.
Rocket League was released in July 2015 on PS4 and PC and was one of the biggest surprise hits of 2015. It has now sold 4 million copies and has attracted around 12 million players.
In all, it's already made more than $70 million against a $2 million initial budget. Development on the game is ongoing, as Psyonix has pledged to support Rocket League with even more DLC, including next month's Batman v Superman content.
