As suspected, upcoming PlayStation 4 racing game Gran Turismo Sport will not offer dynamic time or weather. Series creator Kazunori Yamauchi explained to GT Planet that these options, which were key features in Polyphony's PlayStation 3 Gran Turismo games, were dropped in an effort to improve the game's overall presentation.

Weather conditions and time of day will instead be pre-match options.

"We opted to not have the transitions in the race this time in order to raise the frame rate and the quality of the image during the race," he said. "So the user will be able to set that before they enter the race. So you'll still be able to have night races, morning, races at dawn, dusk and so on."

During the Gran Turismo Sport announcement event this month, Yamauchi suggested that the game would not feature dynamic weather. This appears to be the first time he's confirming that the game won't have dynamic weather or time.
Players may be happy to learn, however, that Gran Turismo Sport will have a damage system, even though it was not present in a recent demonstration of the game. Yamauchi hasalso identified 1080p and 60 frames per second as Polyphony's targets for the game

Gran Turismo Sport marks the Gran Turismo series' debut onPS4. Originally announced late last year, we finally learned some hard details earlier this month. It'll include more than 130cars and support for online and offline play, though its scope is more limited than the standard numbered releases.

The planned beta is no longer happening, as Polyphony would prefer to spend its time focusing onSport's launch this November. Sony also recently revealed details of a collector's edition and what kind of bonuses you'll receive for preordering.

PS4 news this week includes a Double PlayStation Plus June games REVEAL, Black Ops 3 Zombies changes and a new Titanfall 2 leak.
Two of the PlayStation Plus June 2016 games have reportedly been revealed early, confirming both titles that will be available on PS4.

Next month's selection was reportedly found by fans and posted on Reddit, ahead of Sony official announcement.

According to those providing the information, the new PS4 free games were revealed after being spotted in emails sent out by the company.

It’s claimed that two PS4 game names can be read in the email coding, revealing that NBA 2K16 and Gone Home will be part of the lineup.

There's no way to verify these latest rumours, pranksters have gone to much greater lengths to fool gamers in the past.

Microsoft's Games with Gold for June was supposedly leaked through a recent marketing screengrab from China; this was confirmed to be fake.

That was after the tech giant revealed the REAL pick, including Goat Simulator and The Crew for Xbox One, as well as XCOM: Enemy Unknown and Super Meat Boy for Xbox 360.

It's likely that Sony will reveal what new games will be included in the next day or two, a PlayStation Community Manager confirmed the picks would be revealed early this week.
And it’s also likely that the PlayStation Plus store reset will occur on June 7, meaning PS Plus subscribers will have until next week to download May's PlayStation Plus Games.

There are usually at least six games offered over three platforms; PS4, PS3 and PS Vita.

Treyarch studio design director, David Vonderhaar, has confirmed that some new changes have been made to the Black Ops 3 Zombies mode.

A new hotfix has been deployed to the game to make way for several tweaks, the only one revealed was something that will help remove some of the frustrations in the latest undead chapter.

“65.22.35.7.0 - Mostly Zetsubou No Shima bug fixes incl that instant-death when traveling in sewer. That was not cool, man. Not cool at all,” Vonderhaar confirmed on Twitter.

The next chapter in the Black Ops 3 Zombies story is to arrive with the third DLC pack from Treyarch, who have yet to confirm a release date.

Many believe a reveal during E3 is likely, although most attention will be focused on Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare.

Titanfall 2 is set to be officially unveiled during the EA Play event during the week of E3, fans will learn more at 9pm BST, on June 12.

More information about the Respawn Entertainment game has reportedly leaked before its big reveal, including new gameplay details and when to expect its launch.

According to an online source posting information to Reddit, the game will introduce grappling hooks, as well as bigger maps to accommodate larger multiplayer battles.

The Titanfall 2 release date has reportedly been set for October, the same month as Battlefield 1 is billed for launch.

Developer Hi-Rez Studios confirms that its MOBA Smite is set to release on PS4, coming out of its beta and joining Xbox One and PC in a full release of the game.
When in comes to popular genres of video games, it’s hard to look past the MOBA. These hugely successful multiplayer titles, typified by the likes of League of Legends and DotA 2, have amassed huge armies of fans and worldwide followings. Now, it looks like PS4 owners are going to have another MOBA to keep themselves occupied, in the form of Smite.

In a recent update on the official PlayStation blog, developer Hi-Rez Studios has confirmed thatSmite will be releasing in full on PS4 – and its release date is coming very soon. In fact, the action MOBA title, which has been in open beta for some time on the console, is due to arrive next week on Tuesday, May 31. “It’s official – Smite, the world’s No. 1 action MOBA, will exit beta and launch May 31 on PS4,” said senior producer Andy Anderson in the post.

Although PS4 owners will finally be able to join the party, this simply means that Sony console users will be joining a strong community across multiple platforms. The game is already available in its full version on both Xbox One and PC, and has so far had a fairly positive reception from gamers. Indeed, it seems as though Smite has fulfilled at least some of its promise from early previews of the game.

Although some may suspect that the MOBA genre is already an oversaturated market, Hi-Rez Studios has tried to give Smite its own unique feel. Aside from an interesting choice of characters that includes multiple mythological characters including Greek gods such as Zeus, the title also delivers MOBA gameplay from a third-person perspective, rather than the top-down view of most of its peers. Combining this with action-oriented gameplay, Smite certainly stands out from the other MOBAs available.

Of course, plenty of PS4 owners will have already played a fair bit of the game; after all, Smite has been in open beta on the console for some time. However, Hi-Rez has made plenty of changes since the beta officially launched, including upping the frame rate to 60 FPS, adding new game modes such as Clash and Siege modes, and adding more playable gods to the title, bringing the total number of playable characters up to 75.

Even though the game is set to fully release next week, it also seems as though Hi-Rez is far from done with changes to the game. Indeed, the developer is planning to continue introducing new content to the title every few weeks, and is going to launch a Viking Invasion event next week. Hopefully, Smite players will continue to receive a good level of content long after the game’s launch across all planned platforms.

Smite will be released for PS4 on May 31, 2016, and is already available for both PC and Xbox One.

With the exception of perhaps Rockstar, no other studio has an esteemed reputation preceding their work on the same level as Blizzard; the company whose very name is now basically an official synonym for “bloody brilliant.”

Consider, for example, the fact that Overwatch is a $60 multiplayer-only title with micro-transactions and a currently broken party system. If it were any other company (think back to Star Wars Battlefront last year), there would be consumer outrage.

But instead, everyone is having far too much of a good time in one of the most enjoyable and well balanced multiplayer games since the days of Team Fortress 2 andCall of Duty: Modern Warfare. We could talk for days about the incredible character design, the smart approach to world-building in an online game, or the beautiful sense of pace to the ballet of combat, but everyone else has done that already.

We can’t wait to see how Overwatch evolves in the coming months and years, especially considering its eSports potential, and Blizzard’s promise to continually bring out free content in the form of new characters, maps, modes, balance updates and animated shorts. Considering the studio’s reputation for post-launch curation, these updates are likely to embellish and improve the quality of the game even further.Instead, we want to thank Blizzard for bringing a game that is a force for positivity in a market overflowing with dark, violent shooter titles. Unlike Counter-Strike or Rainbow Six Siege, the world of Overwatch is one that we want to live and breathe in, a semi-utopic future brimming with color and hope. A few minor quibbles aside, it’s also one of the most polished experiences we’ve played in eons.

The game isn’t perfect, as elaborated on in the opening paragraph, but it is something of a masterpiece. When your biggest criticisms come down to questions like, “Why is Bastion’s turret mode so OP?” and “Where’s the ‘leave as party’ option?”, then you know that the rest of the game must be something special. Overwatch will stay up on our list for as long as we want to keep playing it, and that fervent desire for “one more match” is unlikely to die out anytime soon.

According to official PlayStation blog, "Overwatch" is a game that will transport the players into an exciting world of mayhem. This multiplayer sci-fi game will put your team against another in energetic matches with players across the world. Teams will have six heroes, each equipped with their unique set of skills and will come in four standard variants, Offese, Defense, Support and Tank. The teams will have to work together as any single move can make all the difference between defeat and victory.

The next game, "Dungeons 2," is created by Realmforge Studios and is centered around Dungeon Lord's resolute search for revenge. As he plans to take over the underworld, he employs a team of new monsters who will help him achieve his objective. Even though the game is marketed as the sequel of "Dungeons," news reports indicate that it is more similar in play to "Dungeon Keeper," from 1997. Some of the game aspects are quite similar to the Windows 95 title such as scrambled British accent of the narrator and the real-time strategy component that reminds one of "Warcraft 3."

"The beauty of Dungeons 2 is that it never fails to let us take some glee in sowing discord," said video game reviewer Leif Johnson. "It's not quite a keeper, but it's an improvement over the original."

The third game to watch out for this week is "Lumo," a modern rendition of isometric platform game from 80s and 90s. Even though the game is somewhat similar to the classic puzzle titles before this one, it is also able to retain some of its uniqueness and its own identity. The game is built around four unique quadrants and has more than 400 rooms, making it an exclusive mental as well as visual experience rolled into a single game.

If you play soccer-meets-cars game Rocket League on Xbox One, your pool of opponents is about to get a lot bigger.

Today developer Psyonix is releasing an update for the Xbox version of the game that will allow for cross-platform play between Microsoft's console and PC players on Steam. "Cross-network play has been something that Xbox One gamers have been asking us for since the day we launched," says Psyonix's Jeremy Dunham, "and thanks to Microsoft's new cross-network policies, we're proud to give it to them."
Cross-platform play has been available in the PS4 and PC versions of the game sinceRocket League launched last year, but the game didn't come to Xbox One until this February. In March, Microsoft announced that it would allow cross-platform play between the Xbox One and other platforms, and named Rocket League as one of the early titles to support the feature.

However, while players on both consoles can now go up against friends on PC, that doesn't mean Rocket League will support cross-platform play between Xbox One and PS4. While Microsoft seems open to the idea, Sony appears to be noncommittal on the topic, saying previously that "we would be happy to have the conversation with any publishers or developers who are interested in cross platform play."

Console gamers were thrilled when it was first announced that The Sims 4 would be coming to the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One; according to new details however, the developers have run into technical problems.

News Every Day have reported that Maxix and The Sims Studios has run into difficulties while trying to port the game to consoles; they comment that the delay in the console version is due to “significant technical glitches” which have risen from the process of porting game.

For previous The Sims games, it has taken the development team less than two years to release a console version of the game; the previous game in the series, The Sims 3 was ported to console the same year it was released. In comparison, The Sims 4 was released in 2014 and console fans of the game are still waiting for the game to be released.

Since these revelations, Maxis and The Sims Studios have been silent about the console version of The Sims 4; rumors suggest that the game will be bundled with the Pet Expansion pack for its release on console. The Pet Expansion packs have been some of the most popular expansions for each game in the series, there’s no confirmation on this yet but it would be a nice compensation for console gamers.

In other Sim related news, there is a new expansion pack coming soon for the PC versions of the game; according The Sims official website, this expansion pack will be called “Dine Out” and will involve “restaurant life” with “clumsy waiters”. There are also rumours to suggest that a new feature will be coming to The Sims 4 which will allow both genders to have interchangeable hairstyles.

There is no official release date for the console versions of The Sims 4, it was due for release this year but due to the technical issues that have arisen during the port this may longer be the case. If the game is released this year for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One then it will most likely be towards the end of the year. More news on the port should be revealed in June at E3 this year.

After a three years of near total silence, Sony’s flagship racing franchise is finally coming to PS4. The next entry isn’t Gran Turismo 7, though; instead, it’s the unnumbered, competitive-minded Gran Turismo Sport. According to Polyphony Digital president Kazunori Yamauchi--who announced the first firm details at an event in London, Sport focuses primarily on online competition, offerings fans daily races, championship tournaments, and other events. The dev team clearly envisions Sport not only as the definitive competitive motorsports experience but also as a potential racing esport.

Despite this subtle shift in focus, however, Sport is still very much a Gran Turismo game, as I recently learned during a brief but illuminating hands-on session. The game treats cars with religious reverence, painstakingly recreating every detail from the dash to the handling. Sport contains 137 vehicles total, including concept cars, hypercars, and licensed vehicles from 27 different manufacturers. And unlike previous Gran Turismo games, every single ride has been given the premium treatment, with authentic, highly detailed modeling inside and out.

The attention to detail throughout is downright maniacal. You can see the leather stitching on your Audi's steering wheel, and individual flecks of asphalt catch the sunlight as you whip past. Though the environments still can’t quite match the fidelity of the cars, Sports’ world looks substantially better than any previous Gran Turismo game. It’s not afraid to show it off, either: nearly every menu slowly pans over whatever car you currently have selected, lingering on every curve. There’s even a new mode that lets you create custom images, realistically rendering digital cars over high resolution photographs of global locales.

This may also be the best Gran Turismo has ever sounded. Not only does every engine rev come through crisp and clear, you can catch details like crunch of gravel when you slide off the track and the satisfying shunk of a powerful shift. Interestingly, however, Sport still doesn’t contain damage modeling. While that’s consistent with series tradition, it does somewhat detract from the steadfast realism that permeates the rest of the game.

The handling, on the other hand, feels as realistic as ever. During my hands-on time, I had a chance to race a Nissan GT-R ’17 on Willow Springs, a Lotus Evora ’09 on Brands Hatch Indy Circuit, and a Mercedes SLS AMG GT3 ’11 on Nurburgring Nordschleife. In each case, the steering felt tight, weighty, and responsive, especially with Sony’s official wheel peripheral in my grasp (force feedback, high-end metal shifters, a substantial steering wheel--highly recommended). Sport actually includes slightly more robust race assist options than previous series entries, which should allow those who buy the game primarily for the car porn to cope with Gran Turismo’s demanding, simulation-level racing mechanics. I spent one race with both the steering and brake assists turned on, and while I couldn’t quite tell if the steering assist actually helped, I definitely noticed the brakes engage on my behalf when I was heading into a corner a bit too hard. It was subtle but helpful.

Naturally, Sport offers several camera angles: cockpit, hood cam, third-person, and full first-person. The game actually defaults to a first-person view with a slick, intuitive UI that displays all info you need cleanly and unobtrusively. I especially appreciated the helpful RPM meter at top of the track mini-map--which appeared at the bottom of the screen--as well as the slim rear view camera that lived permanently at the top of the screen. The opponent AI seemed solid as well. Races felt competitive, but there was no discernable rubberbanding.

While the build I played contained only a limited amount of content, the final product will feature an arcade mode with single races, time and drift trials, and “two player battles,” as well as single-player focused campaign. Interestingly, the game’s menu lists Sport and Online as separate modes, perhaps suggesting Sport will offer broader, community-focused competition as opposed to traditional online racing. I also noticed a garage mode--which, as in previous games, should allow you to tinker with all your cars’ components--and an option to create your own custom livery for the first time in franchise history.

While there’s still plenty more to see, Gran Turismo Sport is so far shaping up to be worthy addition to the series’ tradition of hardcore simulation excellence. We’ll find out for sure when the game launches this November.

More details from producer Kazunori Yamauchi.
Gran Turismo Sport may not be the full-on sequel fans of the series are hoping for, but it will features things like weather and damage, despite being absent from a recent demonstration of the game.

Franchise boss Kazunori Yamauchi confirmed that both of those will be present in Sport in a new interview with Game Watch (via DualShockers). He said developer Polyphony has already been working on a damage system for Sport, but that it wasn't available in the version of the game used at this week's reveal event in London. That explains why the brief tournament played following the game's reveal didn't see any of the cars getting smashed up.

Likewise, weather is also planned for Sport, though Yamauchi indicated there are plans to stray away from a dynamic system in favor of offering weather conditions as a pre-match option.

He also identified 1080p and 60 FPS as Polyphony's targets for the game while admitting there are currently some frame rate issues in the current, unfinished version of Sport. As is to be expected, he didn't address the prospect of an improved version of the game for the enhanced version of PS4 that's rumored to be on the way.

Sport marks the Gran Turismo series' debut on PS4. Originally announced late last year, we finally learned some hard details this week. It'll include more than 130 cars and support for online and offline play, though its scope is more limited than the standard numbered releases. The planned beta is no longer happening, as Polyphony would prefer to spend its time focusing on Sport's launch this November. Sony also this week revealed details of a collector's edition and what kind of bonuses you'll receive for preordering.

The NASCAR Heat series returns in September.
The first NASCAR game for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One is on the way. The fully licensed stock car racing game, NASCAR Heat Evolution, launches on September 13, developer Monster Games announced today.

Heat Evolution, the latest entry in the NASCAR Heat series, includes numerous NASCAR Sprint Cup Series drivers and cars, as well as 23 licensed tracks.

The game, which is also coming to PC, will have new AI and Speed Rating systems that will adjust the gameplay to your skill level. Additionally, there will be quickplay races, as well as deeper offerings such as Career and Chase, the latter of which challenges players to win the Sprint Cup. Additionally, Heat Evolution will include Challenges--for these, players can attempt to beat a real-world NASCAR record, though none were specified.

Monster Games, which is based in Minnesota, also made NASCAR: Dirt to Daytona. In 2013, the developer released Donkey Kong Country Returns 3D forNintendo 3DS.

"We have been working on NASCAR Heat Evolution for 18 months and are excited about what we have created," Monster Games president Richard Garcia said in a statement. "From day one, our goal has been to deliver a fun, engaging and realistic racing game designed for NASCAR fans."

NASCAR licensing boss Blake Davidson also added a statement on the game.

"The gaming space allows fans to consume our sport on a daily basis, ultimately helping grow and diversify our audience," he said. "Our fans have eagerly anticipated the arrival of a new NASCAR game, and we expect that NASCAR Heat Evolution will be well worth the wait."

Additionally, the first Toyota driver to cross the finish line at this weekend's 2016 NASCAR Sprint All-Star Race at Charlotte Motor Speedway will be on the cover of Heat Evolution. According to the developer, selecting a cover athlete based on the results of a real race represents "a fist in video game history."

Toyota drivers include Kyle Busch, Carl Edwards, Denny Hamlin, Matt Kenseth, and Martin Truex Jr.

Heat Evolution is co-developed by Dusenberry Martin Racing, which acquired the NASCAR video game rights in January 2015. Previously, the rights were held by Eutechnyx.

For more on Heat Evolution, you can add @dmrnascarheat on Snapchat to get a look behind-the-scenes of the game's official announcement event.

The last NASCAR game was 2015's NASCAR 15, though it was more of an update than a new game, and sells for only $20.

Durability has been removed and the stamina system will be revamped.
It's been a couple weeks since Nioh's alpha demo period ended, and now developer Team Ninja has detailed what it will change for the final game.

The changes are based on feedback it received from an online survey and includes improved exploration elements, the removal of weapon and armor durability, and a revamped stamina system. Other changes will consist of improved player and camera behavior while locked-on to an enemy and upgraded graphic performance. The demo provided an option to players that let them prioritize the resolution or frame rate.

Additionally, Team Ninja has said it's safe to delete game and save data from the Nioh Alpha Demo--you'll still have the Mark of the Conqueror, which grants a reward in the final game. Players got the Mark of the Conqueror by completing the demo.

Team Ninja also shared some visuals that showed how different regions reacted to the demo. The world, overall, is mostly positive on Nioh's alpha. Interestingly, the Japanese-developed game has received more positive feedback from the Americas and Europe than Asia. For example, "Difficulty & Game Balance" has 37% Very Good and 35% Good ratings in the Americas, while Asia responded with 11% and 22% respectively. Get ready, PS4 racers, because the world's best-selling racing game franchise is finally ready to return to our consoles. At a Thursday evening event in London, Polyphony Digital and Sony announced that Gran Turismo Sport will arrive on the PS4 on November 15th. And the companies released some footage of the new game to whet our appetites.

The game has been a long time coming, what with Gran Turismo 6 being released for the PS3 way back in December 2013. But Gran Turismo fans are probably used to long waits by now given the six long years between GT4 and the lackluster GT5.

The gameplay footage reveals quite a bit about the new game, which has been built to support PlayStation VR from the ground up. There are a ton of new photo locations, and you can stage multiple cars in those settings. There's a livery editor, so complex custom paint schemes are now possible.

It's not all gold, however. The footage reveals some rather dodgy looking aliasing at times, as well as some slightly odd-looking floating physics moments. We certainly hope these things get tweaked between now and November.

I guess it's about time for me to buy a PS4...

Fallout 4 Far Harbor has suffered serious leaks ahead of its official Bethesda DLC launch

A huge amount of information has been released about Far Harbor before its launch on May 19 for Xbox One, PS4 and PC, ranging from its official PS4 Trophy list, to other more serious story leaks.

There will be sides to pick and GIANT enemies to slay in the Fallout 4 DLC update, with some of those weapons that were found in game files but never made it into the vanilla version of Fallout 4, set to be introduced.

From what we have learnt so far, Far Harbor will have at least 20 locations spread across a large island map, three settlement areas that can be built on, and five new quests.

The game will also supply a large amount of side quests and include more skill check options, which were largely absence from the original release.

While all this is pretty minor stuff, Fallout 4 Far Harbor suffered much worse when a beta version of the game managed to be torrented before its official release.

According to Kotaku, the game was downloaded at least 800 times via the DLC modding hub Nexus.

“[The mod] was taken down because Bethesda asked us to as it contained copyrighted material that was uploaded without permission from the original creator (in this case, Bethesda),” Robin Scott, owner of Nexus Mods, told Kotaku.

“Such actions are a flagrant breach of our well known strict rules.”

Bethesda, meanwhile, have done their best to remove these leaks and have even revealed what fans must do before they can reach the new Maine location.

Players will need to complete the “getting a clue” quest in the main story, it's essential to do this as completing it allows you access to Nick Valentine as a companion.

Nick, the synth private eye, is set to play a major role in Far Harbor, where a battle is brewing between several factions spread across the island.

Sony's PlayStation 4 is leading the current-generation sales race, but one of this year's biggest shooters, Battlefield 1, has aligned with Microsoft's Xbox One for a co-marketing deal. During EA's Investor Day briefing this week, EA was asked if it had any fears about this arrangement impacting sales.

EA CEO Andrew Wilson said PlayStation gamers won't be turned off by the fact that the game carries Xbox branding. Chief marketing officer Chris Bruzzo agreed.
"This is a game for PlayStation as much as it is for Xbox as much as it is forPC," he said. "I don't seem any limiters to our ability reach a really broad audience of gamers across the whole shooter spectrum."

These kinds of arrangements are commonplace in games. Sony has co-marketing deals in place for Star Wars: Battlefront, the Call of Duty franchise, and Destiny, while Microsoft and Bethesda partnered to promote Fallout 4.

Wilson said when a game has some kind of arrangement in place for a console you might not own, it can in fact raise awareness for the game in question across the board.

"Our console partners want to stand right next to the biggest and best games in the industry," Wilson said. "Typically, what we see is that just aids awareness. It aids awareness whether you're a PC gamer or an Xbox gamer or a PlayStation gamer."

Microsoft and Sony secure these co-marketing deals because they believe it will drive "disproportionate awareness around the game as it relates to their particular console," Wilson said. However, this may not actually be the case.

"But what we have seen--and we've seen the analytics against it--is if you're a PlayStation gamer, you do not reject it because it is brought to you by a potential console partner. You understand deeply that it's also available on your console. And what we get is just a multiplier effect of greater awareness in the marketplace."

Battlefield 1 launches on October 21, though people with an EA/Origin Access membership or those who pick up the deluxe edition can get in on October 18. Additionally, a beta will be held sometime before launch.

Online publication VR World claims that both the PlayStation 4.5 and the Nintendo NX will be properly unveiled at this year’s Tokyo Game Show in September.

With rumors swirling about the Nintendo NX and Sony’s upgraded PlayStation 4, fans are anticipating full reveals for both devices. So far, it’s pretty much been a guessing game as to when the hardware will be revealed, but a report from online publication VR World suggests that both the NX and PS4.5 will be revealed in September at the Tokyo Game Show.

VR World makes this assumption based on information from AMD, which is apparently the company providing the innards of the so-called PlayStation 4.5. While there’s not a lot of evidence backing VR World’s claim, it does somewhat make sense for both the Nintendo NX and PS4.5 to both be revealed at this year’s Tokyo Game Show.

We know that the Nintendo NX will not be at E3 2016, and so Nintendo would need a suitable stage to show off their device. While the Tokyo Game Show has lost some of its relevancy in recent years, hundreds of thousands of fans still attend the event annually, making it a great place to reveal new hardware. To that end, having a new console reveal take place at the Tokyo Game Show could help restore some of the event’s importance, instead of all the big reveals and announcements happening at E3 every year.

The Tokyo Game Show just seems like the perfect time for Nintendo to reveal the NX. With the Nintendo NX set to release in March 2017, the September date for TGS would put the reveal exactly six months before the hardware launches. This would give Nintendo plenty of time to market it to the public, and hopefully release a console that performs much better than the Wii U.

The timing also matches up for the PS4.5. We know that Sony will be spending a lot of time at this year’s E3 event discussing the PlayStation VR headset, and so also talking about the PS4.5 at the event could distract from PS VR. Rumors point to the PlayStation 4.5 being revealed before PS VR releases, and with the latter device set to launch in October, it seems like Tokyo Game Show in September would be a great time to unveil the rumored new hardware.

If Sony doesn’t use E3 2016 to reveal the improved PS4, then it is reasonable to assume that the reveal will come at Tokyo Game Show, or perhaps a bit earlier at Gamescom. At the very least, the evidence is in favor of the device existing, so hopefully a full reveal comes soon enough, and the speculation can be put to rest.

Do you think the PS4.5, the Nintendo NX, or both will be revealed at this year’s Tokyo Game Show? Leave your thoughts in the comments below.

The Tokyo Game Show 2016 will run from Thursday, September 15 until at Sunday, September 18 at the Makuhari Messe in Tokyo.

GTA 5's popular multiplayer mode will see new DLC content arrive soon

Rockstar have reiterated their commitment to bring new DLC content to GTA Online, following weeks of providing singular vehicle packs, and other small groups of in-game items.

The studio say they hope to use recent fan feedback to shape what happens in GTA Onlinenext, with two new updates coming to the game soon.

Both will look to expand on Grand Theft Auto 5’s most popular multiplayer aspects, the building of new content by fans, and the game’s freemode.

Cunning stunts will expand GTA 5's racing and stunting scene with new creative and fun games.

This is an aspect of the game where players have really excelled, the chance of providing new tools will make a lot of map creators very happy.

Fresh stunt-ready vehicles and gear will be added too, along with props for the Creator Tool and “other gameplay possibilities that will surely defy imagination.”

One aspect of the game that doesn't look to be expanding is official mod support, if Rockstar really wanted to win plaudits, they would allow for offline mod support for those with the creative talent.
Further adventures in finance and felony will allows players to use their Organizations for something more than just protection, it will open up contraband trafficking which can be run from new properties.

Fans will be able to manage inventory directly from their HQ, buy and sell produce, make pickups and prepare for raids.

Rockstar have also confirmed that more news will be released soon about what they have planned in the weeks and months covering summer.

Until then, fans can pass the time by partaking in the new GTA 5 update Combat Week.

Gamers will get flooded with noteworthy titles this year, and some of them will land on multiple platforms.

We compiled a list of the most relevant titles that will roll out in June, regardless if you are in the Xbox One, PlayStation 4 or PC team.

Even though some games got delayed until June, it is good to see that developers learned their lesson and are postponing release dates until the end product is worthy of purchase.

PlayStation 4 (PS 3 and PS Vita, where specified)

On June 3, Dangerous Golf and Kick & Fennick land in North America and Europe on PSN. On the same day, One Piece: Burning Blood will be available in Europe via PS4 and PS Vita.

Atelier Sophie: The Alchemist of the Mysterious Book comes to PS4 in both PSN and retail form during June, as well.

June 7 is a rich day that will bring the following titles for PS4: Atelier Sophie: The Alchemist of the Mysterious Book, Guilty Gear Xrd Revelator, Mirror's Edge Catalyst, MXGP2, Paragon: Essentials Edition and Odin Sphere Leifthrasir. The latter goes live on PS3 and PS Vita, as well.

Only one title is scheduled for June 10, and it is Sherlock Holmes: The Devil's Daughter. It comes in Europe and North America at the same time, for retail and PSN.

June 14 is the day when the Elder Scrolls Online: Tamriel Unlimited "Dark Brotherhood" DLC hits North America and Europe on PSN.

Valentino Rossi: The Game will be available to gamers in retail and PSN from starting June 16 in Europe.

European owners of PS Vita and PS4 will be able to play Grand Kingdom beginning June 17.

June 21 is another busy day for PS4 gamers, who will be pelleted with launches. The titles of the day are Deadlight: Director's Cut, The Technomancer and Umbrella Corps.

Two titles deserve special mention.

Mighty No. 9 lands on PS4 and PS3 on June 21 for North America and June 24 for Europe.

No Man's Sky, probably the most anticipated sci-fi exploration game of the year (if not the decade), goes live in North America on June 21 and June 22 in Europe.

On June 24, PS4 and PS Vita players will get their hands on Odin Sphere Leifthrasir. Only PS4 players will be able to play Rocket League: Collector's Edition during that day, though.
