The Entertainment Software Rating Board's (ESRB) rating for NIS America's upcoming release of the Yomawari: Night Alone horror game lists a PC release for the game, aside from the previously announced PlayStation Vita release. The ESRB rated the game "T" for teen audiences.

NIS America will release the game on the PS Vita later this year.

NIS America's official website describes the game:
A young girl is walking her dog Poro around town at dusk when a tragic accident forces her to return home with only Poro's leash in hand. The girl's sister commands her to stay home while she goes out into the night to search for the dog. Time passes. Growing impatient, the girl decides to search for her missing sister and dog herself.

But when she steps foot outside, she realizes that this is not the same town. The darkness has made the town unfamiliar, and she appears to be utterly alone...save for the spirits that stalk her. The girl must hide from, outsmart, or outrun the hunting spirits while she searches for clues to find her loved ones.

NIS America's parent company Nippon Ichi Software developed the Yomawari PS Vita horror game, and released it in Japan last October.

Steam release planned for next month

Degica Games is bringing Koihime Enbu on Steam this May, the publisher announced today.

Koihime Enbu is a fighting game based on Koihime Musou, a visual novel that reimagines the story of classical Chinese author Luo Guanzhong's Romance of the Three Kingdoms.

The title originally got its start as a Sega-published arcade game in 2014, but was more recently released on PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4 in Japan. And now it's on PC. What a ride!

Degica tells Destructoid its planning on publishing two or three games on consoles later this year. We've reached out to clarify if that might include a PlayStation release for this project.

If you've bought into the idea of playing PC games on your big screen TV in your living room, you might be interested in Razer's new Turret peripheral, which just graduated from prototype to a shipping product.

Razer's Turret is a three-piece system consisting of a wireless laptop keyboard, an integrated magnetic mouse surface, and a gaming mouse with a 3,500 DPI sensor. What Razer's trying to do is bring keyboard and mouse controls to the couch without the awkwardness of wires or a separate surface to lay them on, such as a TV tray.

"The Razer Turret brings the immense world of PC gaming to a previously impossible frontier—the living room—where only consoles have traditionally roamed until now," says Razer Co-Founder and CEO Min-Liang Tan. "Finally, we have a perfect solution for gamers to enjoy the unrivaled precision of a mouse and keyboard combination from the comfort of the couch with the durability and reliability that PC gamers demand."

The Turret comes with a wireless 2.4GHz adapter for connecting to your PC, though it also has Bluetooth LE baked in for hooking up a console. Either way, there are no wires to mess with. Razer says it designed the Turret with ergonomics in mind so that it fits on a user's lap. The keyboard portion has chiclet styled keycaps, and it also has dedicated Android buttons—for times when you're not using it with a PC.

When not in use, a foldable hinge allows you to tuck the mouse surface beneath the keyboard before plopping it and the mouse into a dock. According to Razer, you can get up to four months of usage out of the keyboard and 40 hours of nonstop play on the mouse before having to charge them.

There's a cost to the convenience Razer is offering, and that cost is $160. If that sounds reasonable, you can purchase one direct from Razer today.

Sony has announced the games which will release this week on PS4. Headlining the pack are "Loud on Planet X," "Lichdom: Battlemage" and "Invisible, Inc."
(Photo : Sascha Schuermann/Getty Images)

Gamers will surely be glued to their seats with this week's fresh batch of PlayStation 4 games. The latest releases feature music-based tower defense, first-person adventure and turn-based espionage action.

According to the official PlayStation blog site, this week will see the console release of "Loud on Planet X," "Lichdom: Battlemage" and "Invisible, Inc." The last two games are already available on Microsoft Windows since 2014 and 2015, respectively.

Loud on Planet X

Developed by Pop Sandbox Games, "Loud on Planet X" delivers arcade-style gameplay with music from popular indie artists like CHVRCHES, Metric and Lights. Gamers choose from an assortment of tracks to defend their stage from an alien invasion. They can also turn random musical equipment into makeshift weapons and perform special combo attacks against the horde.

Lichdom: Battlemage

In "Lichdom: Battlemage," magic and strategy skills reign supreme. Gamers use a wide-array of spells to traverse a linear world linked by checkpoints and fast travel locations. Experience points can be gained by accomplishing certain goals using spells crafted from the game's eight main Sigils.

"Your spells are not assigned to you as if they are medicines prescribed by a doctor," said Kevin VanOrd of Game Spot. "Instead, you drive your own destiny by designing your spells using the various materials that occasionally rush to your body after a kill as if drawn to your magnetic personality."

He added that "Lichdom: Battlemage" is still visually appealing even in medium settings. However, the game uses motion blur more than it should. This will have gamers rushing to the game's visual options to try and reduce the discomfort.

Invisible, Inc.

"Invisible, Inc." is a turn-based strategy, stealth game developed by Klei Entertainment. Gamers control a group of special field agents as they infiltrate the world's most dangerous organizations. IGN pointed out that the game is a pressure cooker filled with risky and high-stakes decisions.

Updated on April 8, 2016: When Sony rolled out the PS4 3.50 update earlier this week, most of the attention was on the PC support for Remote Play. Sony publicly discussed a number of other small additions for 3.50, but it seems that it also slipped in a few stealth improvements that have been uncovered by the PS4 Reddit community.

In a post by Reddit user “IceBreak,” four new features are listed that Sony didn’t deem worthy of mention. Once you update to 3.50, screenshot notifications can be turned off, the interface of the Live from PlayStation app will be improved, the number of members allowed in a party can be set manually, and it’s finally possible to use rest mode with drives larger than 2TB.

We’ve yet to find a 4TB drive that will fit properly in a stock PS4. If you want to go bigger than 2TB, the easiest way forward is with the Nyko Data Bank expansion. Just remember that if something goes wrong, you’re probably on your own. Sony’s site claims that“Proper operation is not guaranteed for all [hard drive] models,” so proceed with caution.

Original post follows below:

Sony released firmware version 3.50 (codenamed “Musashi”) for the PlayStation 4. Social features like scheduled events and log-in notifications have made their way to Sony’s console, but today’s biggest news is the support for Remote Play on both Macs and PCs. At long last, Sony has finally decoupled this excellent feature from the wildly unpopular PlayStation TV and Vita hardware.

Okay, so how do you take advantage of Remote Play? First, you’ll need to make sure everything is up to date. If you’re not immediately prompted to update your PS4 upon boot-up, head over to Settings > System Software Update, and download the latest firmware. On your computer, head to this page, and download the Remote Play client. Plug in your DualShock 4 over USB, launch the app, and then log into your PSN account. The app will search the internet to find your console, but you can also pair your device manually by going to Settings > Remote Play Connection Settings > Add Device on your PS4.

Keep in mind, the default client settings aren’t necessarily optimal. Before you actually connect with your PS4, you might want to head over to the preferences panel first. For the best visual experience, set the resolution to “High (720p),” and change the frame rateto “High” as well. If you’re running on a wired connection, that should work perfectly fine. If you’re relying on a Wi-Fi connection, you’re better off leaving the frame rate on “Standard.” Give it a try at 720p, and see if your connection can handle it. If you run into problems, you can try dropping the resolution to 540p or 360p, but both of those settings are hard to look at on a PC monitor or HDTV.

We’ve spent dozens of hours using Remote Play on the Vita and PlayStation TV, and we’ve thoroughly enjoyed those experiences. It’s exciting that more people can use this feature, but it’s frustrating to see some of the limitations of this release. For example, the client only supports the DualShock 4 when it’s plugged in. Considering that the controller simply uses Bluetooth to connect wirelessly, it’s mind-boggling that Sony requires you to be tethered. Presumably, that kink will be worked out as time goes on.

Our time spent testing Remote Play on a Mac over an Ethernet connection resulted in virtually zero hiccups, and input lag has been miniscule. However, the graphical fidelity is a problem when you’re sitting three or four feet in front of the screen. The relatively low bitrate and the 720p resolution cap makes everything look softer than it should. We haven’t had trouble reading any text as of yet, but it’s definitely more distracting than expected.

Over in the Xbox camp, local game streaming is available, but it’s much more limited in scope. You can stream gameplay to a PC or tablet, but it must be running Windows 10. The PS4 Remote Play app works on Windows 8.1, Windows 10, OS X 10.10, and OS X 10.11. With any luck, this move from Sony will spur Redmond to broaden its support going forward. And as we’ve said before, iOS and Android support would be the next logical step.

Quantum Break is now out on Windows 10 PCs and on Xbox One, and as many feared, the PC version of the game is a total and absolute mess. There are multiple issues that seem to afflict the game on a fundamental level, and make it unplayable for all but the most knowledgeable users and players.

However, these issues are being looked into- in a post on the NeoGAF forums, Remedy Entertainment head of PR Thomas Puha assured players that the team is aware of the issues in the PC version, and looking to fix them.

“We are monitoring the discussion and what is going on,” Puha said. “I had written a longer response, but it’s just gonna be misunderstood etc, so what I will say is that, rest assured, lot of of work went into the Win10 version and we are looking at the reactions now as well as potential issues.”

Of course, the question is if a lot of work went into the PC release, why is it as broken as it is? Hopefully Remedy fixes these issues, and fast. And hopefully Microsoft stops releasing half assed and incomplete ports (that the community can’t even fix, because of how locked down UWP is), and starts treating PC seriously, if they want it to become a pillar of their gaming ecosystem.

THE PlayStation Plus lineup that include the free PS4, PS3 and PS Vita games for April is set to be refreshed on April 5.

PlayStation Plus has now been updated with April's free games for PS4, PS3 and PS Vita

UPDATE ONE: Sony has now officially updated the PlayStation Plus lineup with April's free games, with six new titles now available across PS4, PS3 and PS Vita.

Anyone who is a PS Plus subscriber can now grab Dead Star and Zombi on PS4, I Am Alive and Savage Moon on PS3 and Shutshimi and A Virus Named Tom on PS Vita.

Sony have provided some new information for anyone who is downloading Dead Star today, it's the game's official launch and is a 10-on-10 multiplayer shooter set on the fringes of known space.

"Each region of space in Dead Star is procedurally generated from a collection of asteroid belts, minefields, derelict space junkyards, and dozens of other obstacles, so gaining intel from early scouting is vital to your team’s performance," Sony has revealed.

"At the start of every match, your team’s main goal is exploring the region of space and capturing neutral outposts to establish your front line — victory can be achieved either by destroying your enemy’s Home Base or by earning a set amount of resources from captured outposts. Early captures can turn the tide of battle.

"very ship class has three alien variations — the type you choose depends on your preferred gameplay style. The Valant are your offensive-minded powerhouses, loaded full of weaponry that take the fight to your enemies and create havoc on the front-line."
PlayStation Plus games in April will soon arrive

PS Plus subscribers will soon see the arrival of this month's downloadable titles, leaving fans just hours to grab those from March.

March's PlayStation Plus lineup includes: Broforce and Galak-Z on PS4, The Last Guy and Super Stardust HD on PS3 and Flame Over and Reality Fighters on PS Vita.

At one stage Flame Over was also available to grab on PS4 but these games will soon be replaced by the April selection.

The full lineup of PlayStation Plus games in April:
Dead Star, PS4
Zombi, PS4
I Am Alive, PS3
Savage Moon, PS3
Shutshimi, PS Vita
A Virus Named Tom, PS Vita
PS4 fans will be able to pick up Zombi and Dead Star

There is a total of six games to grab across all platforms, including PS4, PS3 and PS Vita, it follows Sony's confirmation that Dead Star would become the second game to debut on the next-gen console as a free game, following in the footsteps of Rocket League.

Dead Star: "A team-based shooter with RPG influence that we are excited to have launch as a Plus game.

"Dreamed up by the folks at Armature Studio (Founded by key members of the Metroid Prime team), Dead Star is the result of a “Wouldn’t it be cool if…” process that started with a space shooter foundation and includes elements of strategy and MOBA-like titles."

Zombi: "A first-person survival-horror experience, Zombi really was at the forefront of the resurgence we’ve seen in recent years of genuine survival-horror games.

"The London setting combined with well-paced gameplay sets Zombi apart from more action-oriented titles."

When Microsoft and developer Turn 10 announced last month that they will be bringing Forza Motorsport 6 to PC this spring (albeit in a slightly different form to the console version), many PC-based race fans were delighted. Now Microsoft confirms that they will bring all future titles in the Forza franchise to PC as well (together with the Xbox release, of course). This was confirmed by producer Dan Greenawalt in a trailer shown at Microsoft's Build conference in San Francisco.

"Moving forward, all of our games are going to be shipping on Windows 10 and Xbox. The Universal Windows Platform is great for the game developers and gamers alike. It's going to become even more powerful as a way of delivering amazing experiences across all of the devices in the Windows ecosystem."

All future Forza games will come to both PC and Xbox

Top notch gaming without the pricetag
It's all very well everyone releasing these AAA and indie titles all the time for the PS4, but we're literally not made of money. We might treat ourselves to a new game every month or so, but realistically everyone deserves a new game more frequently than that - it's just our bank balance that doesn't cooperate.

Thankfully, the PS4 now has a steadily growing free-to-play section of the PlayStation Store, where you can find some awesome games that you can play without having to spend any money at all.

Plus, there's not a Candy Crush wannabe in sight.

So here they are, our top pick of the best free games to play on PS4.

7. Planetside 2

Planetside 2 originally launched on PC back in 2012, where it's been well loved by its players. This massively multiplayer online first person shooter (MMOFPS) finally launched on PS4, giving the patient console gamers a slice of the Planetside 2 pie.

The gameplay is straightforward enough, but the real appeal of Planetside 2 is its scale. Thousands of gamers can draw together, split into three factions and then fight to control the game's territory. It's like a multiplayer Battlefield game but with over 10 times the players.

There are in-game purchases if you want to spend a few pence, but developer Daybreak makes sure the game stays balanced whether you fork out a few quid or you don't. Our recommendation is just come and have some fun, because there's absolutely no reason to spend anything.

6. Invokers Tournament

Although Invokers Tournament is pitched as a multiplayer online battle arena (MOBA) game, this title is actually more like a cross between Diablo andDOTA. The gameplay doesn't quite have the complexity of top-notch MOBAs like League of Legends or DOTA 2, but this is an excellent "baby's first MOBA" that works really well on PS4.

And what's more, it's entirely free to play. You can spend real-world money on customisation options, in-game currency and a strange subscription. But, in reality, any money you spend is just enhancing the game's convenience and cosmetics. Everything else is available for free.

5. War Thunder

Don't be put off by the rather steep learning curve that comes with tackling War Thunder on PS4, because this free-to-play title makes you become the king of the skies. This is an excellent example of online simulation of combat by air and by land during WWII, and its larger-than-life attitude makes it an epic PS4 title.

We've lost ourselves for days in its intense combat, ridiculous amount of vehicles, wide scope and challenging difficulty settings. We've not even touched on the extensive upgrade paths for said vehicles, all of which are accessible for free.

It's one of those games that becomes more rewarding the more you play, so get stuck in.

GAME Wire rumours mill this week includes a GTA 6 update, the PS4 4K console CONFIRMED and more Red Dead Redemption 2 details

Grand Theft Auto 5 is still dominating the gaming landscape since its original launch but there appears to be plans afoot for the next instalment, GTA 6.
According to new reports, GTA 6 has been confirmed as being in production at Rockstar, although it is still in the very early stages.
It seems strange to talk about the next instalment in the popular series while GTA Online continues to show its popularity among fans - it is still one of the most talked about games on Twitter.
However, as two years has already past since the GTA 5 was let into the wild, it makes sense that will would start moving on Grand Theft Auto 6.
There is currently no word on where it will be set, although TechRadar has revealed that the series look set to carry on in North America.
Even though the development team has tinkered with the idea of other places in the world, it appears the franchise has become too embedded in its own car brands and mythology to contemplate such a big move.
The big question will be whether GTA 6 comes with its own online mode, it would make a lot of sense for GTA Online 2 to be its own standalone product, due to its huge success
A new PS4 console is being worked on by Sony that includes some pretty impressive stats.
The PlayStation 4.5 is real, according to Eurogamer and Kotaku, and will include 4k gaming capabilities.
The latest reports confirm that Sony are indeed looking at refreshing their current PS4 modelhalfway through its lifecycle, but the same sources also question what added power it could offer.
"While more GPU power is being offered to developers, realistically it is nowhere near enough to provide native 4K gaming at the same quality level as current 1080p titles," a report from Digital Foundry states.
"The full extent of the spec is a current focus of enquiry for us, but realistically, it is simply impossible to cram the equivalent of today's top-end PC graphics hardware into a console-sized, mass-market box."
The PS4 4K looks set to include an upgraded GPU for 4K resolution support and more processing power for the PlayStation VR.
Sony has yet to confirm its existence or even broach the subject of a new console in public.
More Red Dead Redemption 2 news this week includes a potential new source confirming the existence of the PS4 and Xbox One title.
Since the rumours started running again on the subject of an E3 announcement and a 2017 release date, a recent LinkedIn Profile for a former Rockstar Games Senior 3D Artist who left the company last year has been creating some buzz.
According to the online profile, the employee worked on "Grand Theft Auto V" "Midnight Club: Los Angeles" and "Red Dead Redemption 2".
The last game has since changed, with the '2' now removed and an explanation from the former Rockstar employee.
The profile now states: “During these years I received many good reviews from supervisors (NOT for spelling XD)”.
The explanation sounds pretty reasonable, although gamers online are still debating whether adding a 2 at the end of something is really something people do.
All eyes will be on Rockstar's parent publisher, Take-Two at E3, with CEO Strauss Zelnick confirming earlier this year that they would be there "in a big way".

February and March didn’t appear as if they would be huge months for PC, Xbox One and PS4 games. Sure, there were some bonafide hits planned; Plants vs Zombies Garden Warfare and Far Cry Primal both come for blockbuster franchises. They were also more of the same, sequels to known quantities. Tom Clancy’s The Divisiondid force gamers to recalibrate their expectations, but that was it.

The PC, Xbox One and PS4 games line-up for April has some gems. In early April, Microsoft will become the first major player in the living room console space to drop an exclusive when Remedy’sQuantum Break goes on sale. Third-party game developers will dominate the rest of the month, releasing sequels in well-respected franchises and downloadable content for last year’s biggest role-playing game, Fallout 4.

Quantum Break – April 5th
Quantum Break is a game Xbox One fans have waited a very long time to get their hands on. Originally set to debut last fall, it appears that developer Remedy Entertainment needed more time with it. Microsoft delayed the game, promising to deliver it as its first exclusive launch for 2016.

The game stars Shawn Ashmore, and is a third-person shooter. Ashmore’s character is granted the power to manipulate time in a freak accident. Players control him as he discovers exactly what’s going on and exactly who he can trust. At different points in the story, players have the opportunity to make big decisions that impact their play through of the game.

Quantum Break is coming to Xbox One and Xbox on Windows on April 5th.
RBI Baseball 16 – April 5th

Coming to both Xbox One and PS4 on April 5th is the only major league baseball game on current generation consoles that isn’t only available to PS4 owners. RBI Baseball 2016 takes gamers back to the field with some new tricks. Teased for this year’s edition of the game are players from the real MLB roster and more “balanced” defensive gameplay. RBI Baseball will also include all 30 of the real-life MLB ballparks, complete with support for night and day games.

Dirt Rally – April 5th
Dirt Rally got its release last year on Windows PCs, but Xbox One and PS4 gamers have waited their turn to try out the racer ever since. On April 5th the game makes its way to living room consoles. Featuring both single player and multiplayer, Dirt Rally is an off-road racing simulation with Rallycross and vehicles dating back to the 1960s.

Dark Souls 3
he fourth major installment of the Souls franchise, Dark Souls 3 adds some new features and combat to the established action franchise. These include adaptive enemies that’ll be harder to predict than enemies in the game ever were before. New battle abilities for players to mix in with their attack strategy, make an appearance too. Some say that it’ll be the hardest in the franchise, by far.

The game, will reportedly be heavier on role-playing elements, like character building and skills, than previous versions. Dark Souls 3 arrives on store shelves April 12th for Xbox One, PS4 and Windows.

The Walking Dead Michonne Episode 3
Coming back for its third episode in April is The Walking Dead Michonne an episodic, narrative driven game from Telltale. Both Telltale and The Walking Dead franchise have huge followings. Michonne is about what happens to a singular character in The Walking Dead franchise after she decides to go it alone.

he Walking Dead Michonne is for Xbox One, PS4, PS4, Xbox 360, Xbox One and PCs running Windows. Episode 3 will be the game’s final release, unless there’s a second season in the works that we don’t know about yet.

Ratchet & Clank – April 12th
Ratchet & Clank is back this year for owners of Sony’s PS4 video game console. Rather than start over, Ratchet & Clank 2016 is a re-thinking of what the first game could have been, made specifically for Sony’s current generation console. Like the original game, this reboot uses elements of platforming and shooters.

Ratchet & Clank 2016 launches on April 12th in North America, April 15th in France, April 20th in the European Union and April 22nd in the United Kingdom. It’ll be the first big-name, exclusive release for the PS4 this calendar year.

Fallout 4 Wasteland Workshop
Coming sometime during the month of April is Fallout 4 Wasteland Workshop a huge update to the enormously successful Fallout 4 role-playing game that launched late last year. Wasteland doesn’t include any new areas to explore. Instead, it focuses on Fallout 4 users that want to use the game’s tools to create and building things. “You can build your own arenas, capture animals and also build other things,” Todd Howard told Game Informer in a recent article.

Fallout 4 Wasteland is a part of the Fallout 4 Season Pass that developer Bethesda increased the price on early last month. It’ll also be sold on its own for fans that don’t want the $49.99 Season Pass, but do want more to do in the best-selling game.

Good luck with your April Xbox One, PC and PS4 games plans.

CLASSICS: PS2 classics Manhunt and Bully are now available to buy on PS4

Sony is continuing with it’s quest to publish the greatest PS2 classics on their latest console and in rather unusual fashion, they’ve released two amazing titles onto the PS Store with absolutely no prior warning.

The games released are Manhunt and Bully, two highly controversial and extremely well reviewed titles that not only helped cement Rockstar as one of the best developers out there, but as one of the few ready to push the boundaries of adult gaming.

This marks somewhat of a blow to Microsoft's backwards compatibility efforts, as Bully still hasn't joined the fairly large roster.
BULLY: Players control James Hopkins, a student enrolled at Bullworth Academy full of bullies

In case you need a reminder, Manhunt was Rockstars extremely controversial stealth-horror game.

The core game saw you murdering your way to freedom as death row inmate James Earl Cash, after being thrown into a Saw-come-Hunger Games-esk enviroment of much more blood thirsty proportions.

And as you can see from the below video it featured ever more gruesome executions and plenty of jump scares throughout.

Bully on the other hand, or Canis Canem Edit as you may remember it, had you reliving those horrible memories of school days gone by.

Dealing with bullies, first loves and parents you couldn’t stand with a Grand Theft Auto twist and some comedy gold that only Rockstar could produce.

Both games are available for £11.99, weighing in at around 2GB to download and have been “up-rendered” to 1080p resolution with second screen support for game manuals and trophies thrown in for good measure.

This may not be the last time we see a Rockstar classic land on the PS4, as news coming from gaming site FragHero, who are citing a source claiming to have information from an ex-Rockstar Games employee who stated that a HD remake of Red Dead Redemption is said to be in the works for a 2016 release.

They also mention 2017 could see the release of a sequel, Red Dead Redemption 2: Legends Of The West.

There's some evidence to suggest this rumour isn't complete rubbish, since earlier this year the original game was accidentally made available as a backwards compatible title on Xbox One, which many people were even able to download.

On top of this, Take-Two Interactive CEO Strauss Zelnick confirmed earlier this year that he would be attending this years E3, saying the company "Will be there [E3 2016] in a big way."

1979 Revolution: Black Friday, a video game taking place during the Iranian Revolution of almost 40 years ago, will launch for Mac and Windows PC on April 5.
The game's creators, iNK Stories, premiered the trailer above showing 1979's gameplay, pacing and main characters. iNK says the game will explore the tumult of that year through the crumbling family relationships it triggered, across settings such as Iran's infamous Evin Prison and inside militant hideouts as Tehran comes under martial law by the soon-to-be-deposed Shah Reza Pahlavi.

Black Friday references an early point in the Iranian Revolution, when soldiers of the Pahlavi government fired on a crowd of demonstrators, with dozens ultimately dead or injured in that clash and others taking place that day. Iran's Black Friday actually occurred in September 1978; 1979 is when the Shah fled and the government of the Ayatollah Ruhollah Khomeni took power.
The United States allowing the Shah to enter the country in 1979 is widely seen as a flashpoint for the hostage crisis taking place later that year, when Iranian students backing the revolution stormed the U.S. embassy and took more than 60 Americans hostage for 444 days.
iNK is touting motion-captured acting performances featuring "a talented cast from both television and film, set to a moody original score, and dynamic gameplay."
1979 Revolution originally sought about $400,000 in crowdfunding back in 2013, but fell about 25 percent short of that goal. iNK Stories regrouped with a second crowdfunding campaign to complete the job. iNK Stories was co-founded by Navid Khonsari, a 5-year veteran of Rockstar Games who worked on its Grand Theft Auto, Max Payne and Midnight Club franchises. His other credits include Alan Wake and 2011's Homefront.

Dark zone

As is the danger for games of The Division's ilk, many players have already raced to the level cap, leaving little for them to do. Unsurprisingly, then, Ubisoft's first big patch for the looter shooter will revolve around the Dark Zone, improving the rewards that you accrue for going Rogue and more – though a last minute change has seen it ditch an increase to Phoenix Credits output until the next title update.

Other improvements include an option to disable DualShock 4 audio output, as well as various user interface enhancements and bug fixes across the board. You can browse the full list of tweaks over on the game's official website, but do check back and let us know if you're happy with this first patch in the comments section below. It's due out this week.
