The Division is currently down for many users in North America
UPDATE TWO: The Express can now confirm we are now able to play The Division again in North America, it is still unclear what caused tonight's outage and whether it is connected to the upcoming Dark Zone update from Ubisoft.
UPDATE ONE: The Express can confirm that we are unable to log on to the game in North America, there has been no confirmation from Ubisoft on what is currently causing the latest outage.
Players are also reporting that while they have been able to log back in to The Division online, they have found that their Phoenix Credits that had been built up during their most recent playtime have disappeared.
It appears gamers have found their most recent playtime has not been logged, although it is unclear if this is a widespread issue at this time.
Players are still reporting MIKE errors while trying to play The Division on PS4.
Users are reporting that The Division is no longer functioning, citing Mike error codes when attempting to login into the game.
There is currently no scheduled maintenance for the game, although Ubisoft has confirmed that they will be performing weekly work on the game.
The Division has proved a hit with fans and has begun one of Ubisoft's biggest single-day launches in the company's history.
However, fans are currently unable to play the MMO, one wrote: "After a long day of work I would just like to come home and play but mike is not letting me!"
While another added: "Mike is my worst nightmare, keep having problems with the lad."
Here is the official Ubisoft confirmation on what a Mike error code might mean when trying to play The Division: "The error MIKE is related to the game not being able to access your profile.
"If you have been disconnected and getting the MIKE error when trying again the game is simply trying to recover your profile. Trying again in 5 to 10 minutes should allow you to connect again. In some scenarios it might take up to 30 min before to allow you to connect again.
"Please note if you are getting an error "Your progression might be lost" the game will recover the latest working profile which usually lead you to losing up to 5 minutes of progress. In some scenarii progress lost might be around 10 min.
"Might you have the issue for over 30 minutes please get in contact, while waiting for an account to be recovered please note creating another character or playing with another character should work and allow you to play."
The Division on PS4 and Xbox One went down earlier this month when the Ubisoft servers were hit by a power outage, it is currently unclear what is causing the current issues.
