PS4 news this week includes a Double PlayStation Plus June games REVEAL, Black Ops 3 Zombies changes and a new Titanfall 2 leak.
Two of the PlayStation Plus June 2016 games have reportedly been revealed early, confirming both titles that will be available on PS4.
Next month's selection was reportedly found by fans and posted on Reddit, ahead of Sony official announcement.
According to those providing the information, the new PS4 free games were revealed after being spotted in emails sent out by the company.
It’s claimed that two PS4 game names can be read in the email coding, revealing that NBA 2K16 and Gone Home will be part of the lineup.
There's no way to verify these latest rumours, pranksters have gone to much greater lengths to fool gamers in the past.
Microsoft's Games with Gold for June was supposedly leaked through a recent marketing screengrab from China; this was confirmed to be fake.
That was after the tech giant revealed the REAL pick, including Goat Simulator and The Crew for Xbox One, as well as XCOM: Enemy Unknown and Super Meat Boy for Xbox 360.
It's likely that Sony will reveal what new games will be included in the next day or two, a PlayStation Community Manager confirmed the picks would be revealed early this week.
And it’s also likely that the PlayStation Plus store reset will occur on June 7, meaning PS Plus subscribers will have until next week to download May's PlayStation Plus Games.
There are usually at least six games offered over three platforms; PS4, PS3 and PS Vita.
Treyarch studio design director, David Vonderhaar, has confirmed that some new changes have been made to the Black Ops 3 Zombies mode.
A new hotfix has been deployed to the game to make way for several tweaks, the only one revealed was something that will help remove some of the frustrations in the latest undead chapter.
“65.22.35.7.0 - Mostly Zetsubou No Shima bug fixes incl that instant-death when traveling in sewer. That was not cool, man. Not cool at all,” Vonderhaar confirmed on Twitter.
The next chapter in the Black Ops 3 Zombies story is to arrive with the third DLC pack from Treyarch, who have yet to confirm a release date.
Many believe a reveal during E3 is likely, although most attention will be focused on Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare.
Titanfall 2 is set to be officially unveiled during the EA Play event during the week of E3, fans will learn more at 9pm BST, on June 12.
More information about the Respawn Entertainment game has reportedly leaked before its big reveal, including new gameplay details and when to expect its launch.
According to an online source posting information to Reddit, the game will introduce grappling hooks, as well as bigger maps to accommodate larger multiplayer battles.
The Titanfall 2 release date has reportedly been set for October, the same month as Battlefield 1 is billed for launch.
